Acclaimed Ice Dance coaches Lynn Burton & Duncan Lenard – between them they are; former Junior and Senior British Ice Dance Champions and Medallists, International Gold Medallists, European and World Ice Dance Championship Competitors.

During their Competitive and amateur years they trained under World renowned Master Coach James Young until they turned Professional after their last European Championships in 1995.

Lynn Burton began coaching immediately after Europeans in 1995 at John Nike Leisure sport Complex in Bracknell. Here, she had a very happy and successful eight years coaching pupils of all ages and levels through to Championships.

In the one year achieving Novice, Primary, Junior and Senior Champions in both solos and couples. As well as success with pupils and competition training, she coached group numbers for the famous John Nike Pantomimes every Christmas and skated in them alongside her coaching colleagues.

In 2004 she joined Duncan Lenard to teach alongside him at Blue Ice Plaza – Solihull to begin training youngsters and Adults to reach their personal goals in Ice Dance and has now coached there for the past eleven years.

Duncan Lenard started teaching at the same time as his continued with his own competitive training at Alexandra Palace in 1990 along with days at Chelmsford (Riverside Sports Arena) and Stevenage before it’s closure.

In September 1997 he joined one of the most well known shows “Disney On Ice” travelling around the world playing many characters.

On returning to the UK, he coached at Planet Ice Birmingham before settling at Blue Ice Plaza – Solihull where he has been coaching for the last fifteen Years.

Together, Lynn and Duncan – Frosty Blades Ice Dance have coached many adults and couples to Adult Championships both in the UK and the popular International competitions in Oberstdorf, Germany with medal success.

For many years, whilst training in their early career they coached alongside James Young at his Ice Dance Course in Engelberg, Switzerland.

Co-coached Ice Dance Courses in Anglet in France and St Polten in Vienna with Master Coach Vivien Dean.

Every January since 2006 they have been the coaches for the prestigious RAIDAG (Reunion Amicale international de Danseurs Amateurs sur Glace) in Celerina, St Moritz Switzerland.

They also co-ordinate and coach on numerous workshops around the UK.
